Jack Kennedy (CIA Insurance Honda) scored his maiden WSS podium finish two days ago at Portimao, after leading the first part of the race and pushing hard until the race premature end on lap 14. The Irish rider from Dublin hopes that this result will helping turning the page on a tough early part of the season that was affected by injuries and technical problems.

“It was quite a relief, it’s been a long time coming for me to step on the podium. I was confident and positive throughout the whole weekend, the team has done a great job and I have to thank all of them a lot. Things couldn’t be better heading into the summer break, I will be able to enjoy a little holiday in a much more relaxed way.”
